Our process.
-
Timeline
Our pools take 6-8 weeks from the day that installation starts until we receive the final inspection to swim! The pool itself is a 1-day install, but our trade partners need time to ensure their parts are completed with the utmost quality. Nordic Pools can have you swimming approximately 10-12 weeks from the day you sign your contract with us and begin the design/permit process.
-
Initial Consultation
We start by scheduling a consultation where we get to know you, your family's needs, and your vision for the pool. We will discuss your design preferences, budget, and any specific features you desire. You will receive a proposal based on the consultation.
-
Pool Design and Planning
Based on the information gathered during the consultation, we will create a custom pool design tailored to your preferences and backyard space. During this process, we will begin permitting and finalize all design and materials. This process from initiating the pool design through obtaining the permit takes 3-8 weeks depending on the permit review process.
-
Pool Installation
When the permit is issued and the pool delivery is scheduled, the fun begins!
Excavation begins the day before the pool is due to arrive. The day that the pool arrives contains many moving parts including the crane to set the pool, the excavator to backfill, and the pool water company to fill the pool!
-
Finishing Touches
With the pool install complete, we focus on the finishing touches that add character and personalization. This includes tile selection, coping, decking, and any additional features, such as waterfalls or lighting.
-
Client Walkthrough and Handover
Before we hand over your pool, we conduct a detailed walkthrough, explaining all the pool's features and operations. We are committed to making sure you feel confident in operating and maintaining your new pool.
